Students college of the Family Welfare Education study program, Faculty of Technology and Vocational Education created an Android-based game innovation with a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematical) approach.
The idea was to make this game initially from the RANI model. RANI model is a model established by our lecturer. RANI is an abbreviation from Reading Active and New Interaction.
This model helps stimulate children to build knowledge from reading and playing activities at an early age. To adapt to the advance of technology, the model should create media that relate to this era.
We, as a student, get involved in creating a tool that designs it in digital games. We invented the game called PUZGIES0 KIDS to stimulate children to build knowledge. PUZGIES KIDS (Puzzle in Geometric Pieces for Kids) is a puzzle game in the form of geometric pieces to introduce various shapes (square, triangle, circle, etc.) to children.
These geometric shapes help children explore objects and also introduce technology. Therefore, we expect this game involves children actively to stimulate development.
Children will get to know various things and some English vocabulary by playing this game. The goal of inventing this game is to help children build creative thinking skills, stimulate children's cognitive and social-emotional intelligence, and support learning and knowledge for children.

The creation of this educational game started with the development of ideas from each team member and supervisor, followed by making a prototype on 27 December 2021. This team consisted of 5 students college, Khoirun Nisa, Mentari Nurhabibah, Hilwa Husnia Zahrani, Nur Azzura Ibrahim, and Sofyan Zanuansyah with Mrs. Nenden Rani Rinekasari, S.P, M.Pd, as a supervisor and the creator of the RANI model.

We will imply the game in the Childcare laboratory at the Family Welfare Education Study Program, Faculty of Technology and Vocational Education, Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia.
This game can also support learning for children at the Early Childhood Education level. The object category introduces children to the Five senses; Animal; Profession; Food and Drink; Vehicle; Family; Plant; Clothes; Recreation; Sky objects.
We hope children will learn various themes while playing through the different categories provided. The purpose of this PUZGIES KIDS game is to stimulate cognitive, language, social, emotional, fine motor skills, children's creativity, and practice problem-solving skills.
In the future, the student college team hopes that this game can be better developed and refined, and easily obtained freely and for free or through the play store so that parents and children can easily access it.
